Your Privacy Is Our Priority

Hi there! We know your Evin wardrobe is full of personal memories: weekend getaway outfits, special occasion looks, mood notes and little style experiments that make your fashion journey unique. We built Evin to be your private style companion, so protecting your personal data is at the core of everything we do.

This privacy policy explains exactly how we handle (and almost never collect) your information, so you can use Evin with total peace of mind.

What Information We (Almost Never) Collect

• All core usage data including your clothing item photos, daily outfit logs, mood notes, wear frequency stats and style preferences are stored locally on your device by default. We never access, collect or store these private details on our servers unless you actively choose to enable optional cloud sync functionality.
• No account registration is required for all core Evin features, so we never ask for your name, email, phone number or any identifiable personal information to let you build your digital wardrobe and log outfits.
• If you choose to use our weather-based outfit recommendation feature, we only request anonymous one-time location data (or the city name you manually input) to fetch real-time temperature information. We never store your location information on our servers after the recommendation is generated.
• We may collect anonymous, de-identified crash logs and app performance data only to fix bugs and improve Evin's functionality. This data never contains any of your personal wardrobe or outfit content, and cannot be traced back to you as an individual.

How We Use Your Information

• We never use your personal style data for advertising, marketing or any commercial purposes. All outfit recommendations you see are generated entirely based on your own wardrobe and past outfit logs, either locally on your device or from your encrypted cloud backup if you opt in to sync.
• If you enable optional cloud sync, the data you upload is only used to let you access your wardrobe across multiple devices. We never share, sell or rent your cloud-stored data to any third parties for any reason.
• Anonymous performance data is only used to optimize app speed, fix glitches and add new features that fit our minimalist, heartfelt mission of being your style memory keeper.

You Have Full Control Over Your Data

• You own 100% of all content you upload to Evin, from clothing photos to outfit memory notes. You can edit, delete or export all your local wardrobe and log data at any time directly within the app, no approval or requests needed.
• If you use cloud sync, you can permanently delete all your cloud-stored data with one tap at any time. Once deleted, we retain no copies of your data in any of our systems.
• You can revoke any permissions you granted to Evin (camera, location, storage) at any time through your device settings, and you will still be able to use all core Evin features with manual input options.
• If you decide to stop using Evin forever, you can wipe all local data in one tap directly in the app, and we will have no record of any of your personal information.

Third Party Services

• Evin may integrate with limited third-party services to provide specific features, for example, weather data providers to power outfit recommendations. We only share the minimum necessary anonymous data required for these services to function, and we never share any of your personal wardrobe or identifiable information with these providers.
• Each third party has their own privacy policy governing their use of data, and we recommend you review their policies if you have questions about their practices.
• We never integrate with third-party advertising or data tracking services that collect your personal usage information for commercial purposes.

Policy Updates

• We may update this privacy policy occasionally as we add new features to Evin. When we make updates, we will notify you via an in-app alert the next time you open Evin, with a clear summary of what changed.
• If you continue to use Evin after the updated policy goes into effect, you agree to the revised terms. If you do not agree with the updates, you can delete all your data and stop using Evin at any time, no questions asked.
